Will you be able to attend the September 2026 Board Retreat held directly before the NACAC Annual Conference?

2026 September Board Retreat and NACAC Annual Conference Information

The September (or October) retreat is held over the three days before the start of the NACAC Annual Conference. Typically, the retreat will begin on Monday and includes full days of meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday before the Annual General Meeting on Thursday evening. Board Members are expected to attend the Monday - Wednesday meetings and, if possible, the Thursday General Meeting.

International ACAC is committed to maintaining diversity on its Executive Board.

Board Members are eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses up to $2,500 USD for domestic (U.S.A.) travel or $3,500 USD for international travel as provided in the Policies & Procedures. However, Board Members are expected to seek funding from their school/organization before requesting reimbursement from International ACAC. Please contact Immediate Past President, Wilson Lee, with further questions.

All candidates running for election to the Board do so with the understanding that this is a volunteer position; however, they must be willing to commit multiple hours per week. The amount of hours will depend on the specific position. There will be times of the year when the time commitment is much less and times when more support is required. It is important for the candidate to have both the understanding and support of their supervisor and institution.
